Rana is also known as Delta Eridani, HD 23249, HR 1136, and Gl 150. Nearby orange-red sub-giant star system about 30ly away. Has about 2.5 times the Sun's radius. Early estimates thought it could have 87% of the Sun's mass, but newer estimates suggest 1.2 times its mass. It is thought to have evolved from an F8 main sequence star 7.5 Billion Years ago. It will later become a true giant star. Astrometric observations suggest a companion star, but this has not been confirmed with radial velocity, perhaps because its effect would be small due to its inclination to the Sun.
