Gamma Pavonis is also known as Gl 827, HD 203608, and HR 8181. Nearby yellow-white star system. It has 21% greater mass and 15% greater radius than the Sun. It is the Terrestrial Planet Finder's 14th top priority for the search of habitable planets. Its orbit has an unusual peculariar velocity with respect to neighboring stars and is likely an old disk star.
