Andi-roid

Andi-roid is one of many Watcher Androids created by an extra-galactic civilization and the protagonist of The Adventures of Andi-roid, a series of AI generated illustrated vignettes about space exploration. She was born from the a replica of the core of her mother and the Solar Nebula at the birth of the formation of the Solar System. She observed the Solar System for eons, hoping to report to the builder civilization that she had found intelligent life in the Solar System. However, when the builders went silent mysteriously before the evolution of modern humans, she entered a dormant state. She was later revived by Andrew Shamroy, and named "Andi-roid" by him. Unable to communicate with her home civilization, she was treated as Andrew's daughter for a time. She fell dormant again at some point and was later revived by her "brother", Reinhardt Shamroy. Today, she explores outer space on Reinhardt's behalf in the Nebulon Voyager with her ever-present companion, Neptune.

Meta origin[]

Andi-roid is based on one of my Second Life avatars. She was named, well, for the fact that she's an android and the fact that my first name is Andy. It was a model designed by Utilizator. These androids were used in combat simulations and could be customized. I never added too much customization, but did select her hairstyle and hair color at least. It was the first mesh avatar I had gotten in Second Life. However, it didn't support many outfits, so I would later get my second mesh avatar, Andi-chan.
